Applications are closed for the National Centre’s 2022 competitive grants round
The National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse (the National Centre) has a vision of a community in which children are safe, and victims and survivors of child sexual abuse across the lifespan are supported to heal and recover. To support this vision, we are looking to fund a range of short-medium and longer-term projects on the research-to-quality improvement continuum which align with the critical challenges that we believe must be addressed to achieve change.
The National Centre adopts a broad definition of research to include all systematic investigations undertaken to gain knowledge and understanding, including evaluations and quality improvement activities. We are committed to funding research projects that go beyond the creation of new knowledge to include the implementation of practice improvement, capability building and the development of partnerships that can drive change.
This grants round is open to any Australian organisation with the capacity to undertake research, including services and can be led by researchers or practitioners. This grants round will meet the criteria for Category 1 grants.
Applications for the 2022 grants round are now closed.
In the coming months, our panel of peer assessors will begin reviewing all applications that meet the minimum eligibility requirements of the National Centre.
Recommended projects will be put forth to our Board who will review all recommendations and make their final decision in March 2023.
We will contact all applicants shortly thereafter to inform them of the outcome of their application. A list of successful projects will be published on our website in March 2023.
